Where has the North Pole Gone? is a research project based on the thought of Krishnamurti, a philosopher of Indian origin. His thesis is based on the idea that human transformation can only be achieved by freeing oneself from all authority. He used the metaphor of the iceberg in his writings, which inspired my research into small-scale sculptures, a series of collages and silkscreen prints (on paper and wood). This series is based on geometric shapes from nature, opening up a vast field of research. In this new approach, I work on form as a process of “active thought”, a kind of meditation in motion.
