Inhale-Exhale from A to C was originally conceived for the public space at the foot of the City Bank in Brooklyn. For the time being the project has just been exhibited in galleries where Cécile Pitois gave choreographers “carte blanche” to freely create a performance that interacts with her installation.

“For me, dance should be experienced in the depths of the body; it doesn’t matter what you show. In my opinion, a dancer should be more concerned with the body he or she is than with the body he or she has, because dance is formless, it’s beyond the contours of the body, it’s just there, taut, like a line between two points”.
